i like AONO...

it just had the most filler tracks compared to all the other albums in my opinion.

and the later reworks and remixes were much better than the album versions.

but yeah IMD is awesome. new and improved.

The Prodigy are back people!

Well ive just listened to the whole album through once, but before I start:

I think it does sound like other Prodigy albums...but thats not a bad thing. On listening, it sounds like Liam has taken the best attributes of all the previous albums and blended it together to create an album that sounds ultra modern and ultra Prodigy.

Re: AONO...in my opinion theres just no feeling behind it for me. Its just an album. Theres no connection like ive had with all the other Prodigy albums. Theres 3 or 4 good tracks that I like, but the rest to me is close to unlistenable.

As for Invaders Must Die...I cant wait to listen to this in more detail and break it down second by second. Its a bloody solid album and I think it has potential to be close to their best. I love the flow of the album, I love the direction its taken.

Couple things left me sad or depressed though - the first is that it took 11-12 years to create this bloody great album after FOTL. I feel like weve missed out in terms of time. Second thing is...after hearing Stand Up...to me the song sounded like the end of a movie. Credits start to roll, lights turn on, the end. It sounded to me like Liam saying goodbye. I really hope im wrong and theres some more greatness to come...but thats the first impression I got.

To me, the only song I dont like is Colours. I just dont think it fits. Sounds like it was taken straight from the 'AONO sessions' if you will. I dont hate it...I just dont think it flows with the rest.

Omen reprise....there just HAS to be more to this song. It ends so abruptly. I refuse to believe there isnt more to this song that Liam is holding from us.

The middle tracks are where its at for me. TMTTH I think has the potential to be my favourite track of all time. Warriors Dance makes me feel like I should be in some underground warehouse party. Run with the Wolves....great track.

Omen...I like the single/video version better, but its still got everything I expected.

To me, its the recreation of the Prodigy and Liam raising his middle finger to the world and saying...'you think we're finished? Well fuck you!'. Great album.

my firstlook review. i will review the album after a week with it.

I've listend the album now 10times in a loop with good headphones. today i will take it with me at work, to hear it in the car.

IMD:8/10
great oppener that grows on me since release. i like the voice samples and the beat. the melodie grows and grows. maybe it's like an anthem for prodigy 2009 for me. oldschool samples in it, i love it.

Omen:8/10
fast, good fited vocal track of prodigy. could be more darker.

Thunder:9/10
Impressive track with impressive startbeat. good raggaevocals. this kind of thunder is a bomb!

colours:5-7/10
sounds fast. at the time a can't say, i like it, or i don't like it. don't know :)
maybe it grows on me.

TMTTH: 9/10
i love it. sounds like prodigy. some samples are weak and liam had use some better sounds. but in a summary it is a nice track.

WD:6/10
i like the melody, but the vocals are shit. the whole tracks sounds like a jamtrack to me. but its okay.

RWTW: 9/10
yeah, that i was looking for. tracks like warningstyle. warning got a 10/10 from me. it was much darker, just better.

omen reprise: 8/10 (for a fill)
good small remix bridge of omen. i like it.

WOF: 10/10
one of my favorit prodigy tracks. and i will give'em a 10 along with voodoopeople, breathe, smbu, poison, law, firestarter, B&E, No good...
great work liam! can't wait to see it LIVE !!

Piranha: 6-7/10
need to hear it moretimes. my first impression was AONO track. unfitted and unfinished. but i like the oldschool horror sample. maybe a grower.

stand up: 7-8/10
stand up for the God liam ! dunno the what else the name could say. good ending of a good prodigy album with many highlights and little downs. i think it is much better than AONO. can't wait to see them live.

IMD 8/10
AONO 6/10
FOTL 10/10
MFJG 10/10
EXP 9/10

thx Liam

I think this would work excellently live leading into Omen itself. Definately sounds like an intro and I can imagine it sounding immense at a live venue before Omen.

it's a "reprise" so ofcourse there isn't anything more to this song.

Personally I think with a bit of editing this would be a fantastic intro for live gigs. It's really atmospheric.

I ordered my vinyl boxset from Amazon...just checked my orders and noticed that the boxset has a delay flag on it. Anyone else notice this?

It better not be, I have the day off work for this. I'll be getting another copy of the album in town on the day, but I want my boxset for Lost Beats as well!...

Does anybody has seen anything of the cd and vinyl releases ? How the product itself looks like ? I mean I only knew the front cover and the backside cover - like a scanned picture.... that´s it !

No picture of the box-set itself i.e how the style is, etc. etc.

If they would do nice photos from all editions I guess they will sell more of the extended versions...

How is that a bad thing? Fatboy Slim is awesome! That's like saying a tune is bad because it sounds like The Chemical Brothers or Daft Punk. It's cool to have a different song for the end of the album. It's gonna make a good tune live when they leave the stage. It's got a triumphant feel to it almost like a Rocky theme. I'd love to hear a Fatboy slim remix of it and wouldn't be surprised if he dropped it at one of his gigs too.
