[Furthermore, there's a patch on the expansion board called "RSS Spinner" which was used for that spacey sci-fi sound at the and of 3 Kilos. (Again, virtually the default patch, not much altered/tweaked)]
Yeah, this sound definitely exists on the Roland JV1080 or JV2080 which I used once. Liam took one layer of sound out of this to leave the bass rumble and LFO'd panning lead. Also, buy a Korg Prophecy and remake the whole of FOTL apparently!!!
To be honest, if you like a sound then use it. If you don't want anybody else to be able to use your sound, then make it yourself and always have something else playing along with it so others can't get a clean sample![/quote]

No. I use my trusty old stereo-system from 1995 and my pair of sennheiser headphones.. I had a pair of yamaha monitors that was stolen from me a few years ago.

Invest in another pair of monitors dude, your mixes will end up nicely balanced and sound like they came out of the same stable. Amongst other things, on some tracks your drums are blast-off, and on others your drums are begging to be heard! You probably know this but mixing through hi-fi speakers means that they colour the sound meaning that you will adjust the volume of certain channels and frequencies accordingly, thus your mixes won't sound the same on other systems. Whereas mixing with a pair of monitors that are designed to give a flat frequency response means your mix should be fairly consistent where-ever you play it.

yeah man. I know this.. But I dont have the money at this point. All my extra money goes into my plan to go to thailand after this summer. going there for training muay thai.
But yeah... I really do miss my monitors. I try to play my tunes on more then just one system. But the best way would have been a pair of good monitor.
