Most electronic dance music follows the following guidelines:

60–90 bpm — Hip hop and Dub

90–120 bpm — Faster Hip hop, Big beat and Trip hop

120–135 bpm — House, Electro, Trance

135–155 bpm — Techno, Hardstyle, Hard Dance, Hard Trance

155-180 bpm — Jungle/Drum and Bass, Hardcore(Some), Happy Hardcore(Some)

180+ bpm — Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, Gabber and beyond

Even so some genres are not listed here, tempo/bpm can normally differentiate the genres. Other factors include if a track's got broken beats, hip hop samples, heavy basslines, etc...

It's extremely hard to give a genre to a lot of The Prodigy's music because it's so unique. The closest track on IMD to DnB is probably Run, but that's only because of the speed (166 bpm i think). Personally, I wouldn't relate it to drum and bass at all.

I'm pretty sure Warriors Dance uses the 'Bobby Byrd - Hot Pants' break sped up to 137 bpm, anyone else think this?

137 bpm is a long way from Drum & Bass n I think its more Breakbeat than anything else

None of it is Techno at all, The Prodigy havent made a techno record since 1994

And the loop made for DnB is called the Amen Break, sped up it makes DnB, slowed down it makes Hip Hop, the most used sample in the world

listen i think people said warriors dance is D&B because of its bassline, lets be honset, it is a drum and bass bassline, its not rave but in terms of drumbeats, lyrics, flow and lead synths its a rave track.

album sound truly Prodigy to me and I cannot say it is Dnb or w/e. It certainly has elements of a lot of genres.

bpm can't tell either. You have fast dubstep and you have slow dnb.

It's just typical Prodigy, you hear a nice beat, starting to grow on you and fill you then there's another, and another....(ETC>.....)
and then it just drops and it goes off again, one nice beat added by another and another... till it drops again

liam could release a d'n'b track n call it country if he so desired, it should come from within the artist to label things if they want to. the only album that was part of a scene was experience, break beat rave music, the rest is mish mash of everything. when you're a true pioneer you're beyond definition.
