The LH and Josh Homme mix is really good but i am not impressed with the others so far, still waiting to hear the 09 EQ.

They need to release the video soon and get the ball rolling as IMD fell out of the top 20 recently but thats probably because of the Michael Jackson albums selling so well.

KING CANNIBAL TYPES…

This is a radio rip of my remix of The Prodigy’s Take Me To The Hospital remix from a couple of months back. I was asked to do it ‘on spec’ (words that make me shudder) and got played out by Eddy Temple Morris (who’s Losers remix can be found on the digital release) on The Remix on XFM.

It has come in for a fair amount of hate from hardened Prodigy fans, as a lot of remixes of them seem to do, and didn’t get picked up for the official release. Maybe i could have done things differently but what would the point be of remixing a big act and watering down your sound. Yes it may get picked up, your wallet a little fuller but a large amount of people would get their first listen to a diluted version of the sound you are offering – this is my eyes is not making a good first impression.

On the other hand though i’m proud to say i have completed a remix of Two Fingers ‘Bad Girl’ featuring Ce’cile and Sway which will be out in a few months. Its very much a continuation of the bass heavy hiphop exploration i took with my Qemists remix.

What would be the point in watering it down? In other words an admission that you don't have the talent to do a decent remix so you made this piece of shit instead. You're desperatly trying to justify it which is making you look more and more pathetic, just like this remix...

At last!! Someone who agrees with me!!

King Cannibal is right, this remix took some balls. It's different, it's trying new ideas, and any more mainstream sounding version would be King Cannibal compromising to make more £££. Respect where respect is due, even though 99.9% of you on here hate it, you gotta admit that KC has balls!

yeah your right it takes big balls to make such a mess of a tune, even the guy himself thinks it was a fuck up, thats how bad these remixes are getting, i hope liam at least reads or hears about what the actual artists think of their own remixes. its such a shame for something that could have been made so good.

i could bet that a few months back everyone thought if TMTTH was gonna be a single there would be a b-side or a proper liam mix (not some small edit which the eq version is. also that remix liam did do doesn't really count its shitty too)

if it didn't meet alot of peoples expectations then its not really what the track deserves, i was ok with WD and Omen being like that but not Take Me To The Hospital

Yeah, it's only the video which can save it now. If that's really good then it'll make up for this poor release...

since when is fucking up a great tune a "fresh idea"? this cannibal mix was just noise, no rhythm, a sample here and there.
noisia should have remixed TMTTH.
their 'omen' remix was the best so far.

Heard TMTTH 09 radio edit last night on XFM whilst driving home, beat sounded enhanced and of course parts had been editted out including some slight twists at the end of the track, but apart from that hes not really touched it!

good, the only track he should be touching is WOF. id like the un-fucked version if youre listening liam.. put it on the next single alongside mescaline.

really though, we werent expecting much. its only an ''EQ''

Did it sound enhanced simply due to radio limiting though? Radio stations always push up the volume and brick wall it...

I presume the experience synth is still in the track? At the beginning?
