I like the idea using VHS to make this video to get this grey, trashy feeling, I guess this could be simulated via filters in video software also, but VHS looks more realistic. EDIT: I´m tired and bored of all these videos using green and blue filters to make them look "creepy", "dirty" and "underground". I like the video, especially Liam isn´t too far in the background like in the old videos. I bet next album we will hear Liam singin vocal The new parts in the track itself... hmm ... hard to describe.

There is no second video according to The Prodigy HQ on Twitter. Someone asked them about it: -

Maybe someone on Twitter could ask them about that website that says Walter Stern was doing the video.

Also, I used to like some of the tracks from Scooter (seriously), from a strictly technical point of view (I fucking love that reverb they use, the crowd effect [I may be wrong here and they actually record the crowd chants] and also the high pitched voice they have on most of their songs).
I agree with you. I remember around 1997-1998 when i got the "scooter the singles" cd. it was a 2 cd album. I used to think that if someone would kill the guy on vocals, scooter would make some good shit.
anyway the 2nd cd on that album had alot of instrumental tracks. cool shit

I don't think that's Duggers we see holding the camera on the twitter pics.
They also mentioned in a blog a while back they were trying to get a big name director or something like
I smell something a bit fishy. but that's got sod all to do with this post

Here's that hardstyle remix of Smack My Bitch Up, rather cool actually....))
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poZYBDU3fkk
(Especially considering that the new 16-year old might not like the original too much....people start to forget that it is breakbeat / big beat that is best for drums.....)

Info from Dugdale himself:
'We shot parts of the video in a derelict mental hospital. A proper death trap. Holes in the floor and shit falling out the ceiling. We broke in which involved being chased by dogs and a run in with the cops. We wanted a hospital in there but didnt want to shove it down peoples throats. The video was recorded onto vhs. We wanted it to look like an 80s movie youve just found at the back of the cupboard. Doing it analogue gave it a real unique look that you cant create on a shiney computer. Keep it real. dugdale and the prodigy'

I wish the Walter Stern video was used, it looked more interesting, and if it was anything like the FOTL vids it'd be a classic. The vid we have won't be topping any best video lists, that's for sure...

Nice one Gajwan. Always good to know the inspiration and ideas - stops people trying to guess what's going on and why something is done in a particular way.

I always thought that with TMTTH they had a mental hospital in mind, rather than a proper one
I'm kind of disappointed though, that the video lacks a proper story or meaning. It's cool nonetheless, but I was expecting something more fucked-up.
