You are right that intelligence has many aspects and then I can agree that Liam is intelligent on that part. But that's basically what I said, they're succesful musicians.
I'm going to have to disagree with you. Not everyone, famous or not, is camera friendly or well spoken in front of a camera. Moreso, our experience of them speaking is answering the same interview questions 300 times over. Nonetheless, we can't expect them to have vast knowledge of politics or global affairs, at this point, being that they're on the road for so long, and limited to who they interact with.
With that said, I've had the opportunity to speak with the band and let me say they're a very down to earth, well versed bunch of guys. Liam, in person, is not as shy as he appears on camera. I would say they're not rocket scientists, but I'd bet half my paycheck that they're well beyond many people in terms of being chill.
And whoever said 3d is a genius need's to realize he's a rich man with wikipedia. His opinions are formed from whatever left wing BS he hears first. He's been wrong a number of times, and he's a dick.

I absolutely agree with you. This summer i had chance to met keef and liam after naples gig.I spoke very few with 'em,especially with keith(i only said hello to him and touched his arm),but i saw that keith and maxim are less availables for a dialogue or anyway for a conversation, als if they use to have a mic, singing and shouting, entertaining people and speaking to a camera.Liam is more "human",i mean he's more available for a conversation(also if for few) and i think that he doesn't care about politic stuff, but ofcourse he's got his way to think and h'e s a kind of person that goes beyond politic,'cause his law is simply music, nothing else and this is more emotioning, deep and serious than a band as u2,who use music for their political way to think.I mean, nothing against them, but i care only 'bout music,i don't care about what a musician politically think.

I've never met any of the guys, but my wife and 2 yr old son did. Back in Jan this year they met Keith while he was looking around the hotel at about 7 am. She said at first she didn't think it really was him because he was so well spoken, was very polite and didn't appear like how he does in interviews or whatever. He spent about 15 minutes trying to help her and my little boy find the pool. He was very friendly and even played with my son, I think he even had a little laugh at my boy's name when my wife told him what it was (it is Liam - Yeah Yeah Yeah, my wife liked the name after many years of talking about Prodigy and Liam Howlett).
So.... The way they are in interviews (especially Keith) may not be how they are in real life. Think about that. I think sometimes Keith plays up the clown image a little bit when he's in the mood for it.

keith is a joker but full of interesting ideas at the same time when i met him he was totally honest about his feelings and thats a great thing he can be in touch with who he is doesnt follow other ideas he leads and he knows who he is and came across as very respectful! of course his mucking around around 4 the camreas but who doesnt when ur on a buzz and being filmed with your mates??
maxim was like the don didnt say much but when he did u could not help but take notice also really respectful and very thoughtful! as well as interested in what was being said but out of the 3 the most serious
Liam is a big joker very relaxed! what struck me was how interested he was in the questions i had 4 him didnt presume he would be 4 some reason but he was. spoke a lot about the fans and that showed 2 me his care 4 the fans dispite how ppl feel about his delays or binned tracks whatever total sound guys proberly a bit like u or me scaryily!
