Describing it as a "club banger," Liam said the team-up came about after he got stuck, getting over the finish line with the help of Josh 'Flux Pavilion' Steele.

"Basically that happened really quickly... it came out really natural. We decided to throw it backwards and forwards and it [just] happened."

Some cool stuff in this interview. So the finish line with Flux not the full track.

I'm very curious to listen to how will be the day is my enemy. In the previous live version it really was nothing special, practically shit and i hope that Liam totally recast it. I'm also curious about destroy and to understand how is it now, but i actually liked destroy the melody. Another curiosity would be to understand where the hell is heatwave hurricane, but maybe it was totally dropped out.

You have not heard "The Day Is My Enemy." all you heard was a vocal sample thrown over some trap/hip hop inspired demo that Liam had lying around. That instrumental was given to Same Old Sean for his track "Laydown." "The Day Is My Enemy" is gonna be a completely different backing track on the album with the vocal.

I also think so and i hope it. Anyway the vocal sample is taken from a song of Ella Fitzgerald, but i can not remember the name.

I thought the vocal was from Martina Topley-Bird. Liam mentioned he worked with her on a track that was left off "Invaders Must Die" and never finished it. Just thought Liam liked it and reused it as a sample for the instrumental for "The Day" which became Same Old Sean's "Laydown."

Liam was originally working with the Ella Fitzgerald sample but iirc recorded marina topley-bird singing the same vocal bit.

first line in the original song.

I was wondering the exact same thing.

I guess that some people's theory about Liam "losing his way" could very well be explained by family. I somehow don't see how making Prodigy beats and changing diapers could fit together. Especially considering the massive amount of touring that they do. I'm pretty sure that when he came back home, Natalie would throw Ace at him : "your turn".

aye I was mentioning that some time ago, probably when IMD was released. his step daughter is the thing to blame too as I've read in some magazine interview that he usually let her hear it first and gets the oppinion whether it's good
