More proof to show Facebook likes fluctuate and shouldn't be used as any sign of The Prodigy losing fans... I was literally at 493 likes just the other day... now I look and I am at 476 likes. That's about a 3-4% drop within a day or 2... and my number of likes are nowhere near The Prodigy's likes. The Prodigy are currently at 3,751,253... a 3-4% percent drop off would be around 110,000-150,000 likes for them. As I said, this should not be taken as The Prodigy losing fans because of their recent concerts or not liking their new music. It's just Facebook deleting fake or old, no longer in use profiles and it happens ALL of the time. The higher number of likes you have, the bigger the drop offs you will see. I remember reading an article not that long ago where one of the giant social media sites like Facebook or Twitter or Instagram did a full cleaning of the house. Got rid of tons of bullshit profiles causing many mainstream artists taking massive hits in their number of followers. But I remember one funny one, some artist (I can't remember who he was) went down to just 1 like after they did it. Yes, just 1 fucking follower left after they were done lol. He went from being someone with one of the most followers to just 1 in a single day. He went to being #1 at losing the MOST amount of followers compared to any other person out there... including the biggest names in mainstream. Now THAT has to suck! And I hope this has been another fun lesson from Neorev. Have a great day, boys and girls!

The 7-year stall after TFOTL assured that... But WHO CARES? Why does it matter? Who cares about how many FB likes or YouTube views they have? Who cares if other people still like'em or not? Do you like'em? Great! So do I! So does everyone else on this board! So do the other thousands at the next concert. If people don't like them anymore, that's their prerogative...Stop sweating over social media stats and just enjoy the music.

For some of us who follow the band for 20+ years it is important and this was a good analysis. Not that if the band was not popular anymore we would not like it but it is happy to realise that new generations love the band too.

Heads wrote: Ok, it wasn't a comprehensive article. Just two pages long and one is a full page photo of Liam. Here you go: http://i.imgur.com/b51S4Ad.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/cv8jJcU.pngThere was a review of TDIME as well. Might as well start a separate topic for those now. wohoo! Thank you Heads! good read. nothing ground breaking new, but still good. * Now he says it TDIME isn't "angry"... and he says he isn't a guy who listens/ also makes music for home listening. * and he says again. he is more into writing new stuff rather then making old tracks to come out. yep, i don't think it's very likely to happen. * he thinks new album is consistently strong.. in that way better then jilted and FOTL. that really makes me want to hear the whole thing already.uuuhh * i guess this whole anti dj thing was bit over reaction by them and by jurnos.. now he says all that rant and track Ibiza is just a narrative about what they witnessed.. oh well. anyways, looking forward!!! at the same time he states that he Didn't have to tap into what's going on in the music scenes to write this album. well i guess they never bothered too much isn't it? don't know is it good or bad that he still names bands like public enemy and sex pistols as their main influences.
