I think Liam got bored with the original version of the track after playing it for a few years without realising that the majority of people haven't heard it. He's remixed a track that didn't need remixing and should've been released in it's original, better form. Shame we get that diluted weak arsed version of an absolute banger. Such a pity. It's a terrible b side.

i hated the usual live version of AWOL...
it was empty, boring, and repetitive
it had a verse, a chorus, a bridge, and back to chorus
there was no development

the Strike One version is a billion times better, feels like a real song now
though i do wish we got the Bratislava version is some form
even if it was a completely new track, just love the riff/beat on the Bratislava one

but the regular version was just too dull...
maybe it worked live, but at home listening would sound empty and one dimensional

there's definitely a difference in the mix of Rhythm Bomb as well on this EP.

blasting both versions on my sound system, RB Edit off the EP definitely sounds more focused and precise on the kick/bass synth.

the low end hits much harder than the album version and the edit helps keep the momentum going.
loving Rhythm Bomb even more now with this new edit/mix/master.

same for GYFO Re-Eq, the beat and bass is less muddy compared to the album version and the kick hits much harder.
more SMBU type beat than TMTTH type beat now.

whatever Liam & Neil did to improve the mix/masters of these two tracks, they should go back do more tracks as edits/Re Eqs.

Shit version of a great track. Where's the driving synth? Where is the melody and the vocals? Why fuck the breakdown up?

The original version needed something more, agreed,like extra vocals or extra melody, but not this.

I really hope that Liam will release better new tracks than AWOL in the future EP's.It is not a bad track but nothing amazing.
If we get an EP per year with only a couple ''meh'' new tracks,it will not be cool.If that's the case i prefer a new album in 5 years than this.
