Prodigy and ATR/Alec Empire are both hardcore electronic bands...I think it's weird that people that are into the prodigy don't like atr and alec empire...alot of the same energy, darkness and aggression...+ atr and alec empire actually have a message in their music, which makes it even more interesting.

I don't see any similarities guys. It's true that both those bands produce hard electronic sound but it's quite different. Alec Empire and co are too much into some "rebellion" which is empty and boring for me while The Prodigy are not taking themselves so seriosly and just make good music. I don't need some funny guy to be shouting things that everybody already knows and to show mean faces and attitude. This is not serious music. The message is not serious too. It's just pretentious and doesn't solve any of the problems he's singing about. This guy is a retard
I prefer Liam just making massive electro rock and Maxim + Keith making fun of it. Have fun and rock'n'roll

Honestly I'd prefer Liam kill the electro crap and rock and roll and get back to it. I'm not really looking for another FOTL or Experience, but I know I'm not looking for another AONO or something like Moby did going from rave guru turned rocker turned fusion of rock and electronic elements. Prodigy and ATR both have messages, Liam just likes to be clever about it and usually deny his stances which usually is much like ATR in some sense with a rebellion against something.. in most of Liam's cases it's been against the government, law enforcement, and others.. all since the days of their first album. But you won't hear him openly saying it so willingly anymore...

well see, that's the thing........
ATR/Alec Empire ARE Digital Hardcore [aka abrasive electronic sound]
the Prodigy are not. Thus, the difference. I hardly think the Prodigy are abrasive.

funny you say that about Alec, cuz I recall Maxim and Keith doing this all the time!
Either way, I can't listen to ATR/A.E. very much because they aren't as good as the Prodigy IMO. Liam is unbelieveable. His tunes flow so nicely.
ATR/A.E. just get annoying after while; although I do like what they do.

you mis-read my post. It was a question asking who/what it was as they looked weird and I didn't know.
Like if someone posted a squiggly art photo and you'd ask "what the fook is that supposed to be?"
Put the link back in.
