Mighty: what are you talking about? what do we get? new myspace? tell me, what NEW is on it? i hope you're not talking about old movie posters, tunes on the player (those from radio1 were known for a long time, remix of charlie is a) poor, b) also known, we had a radio rip), news that wasnt even witten by Liam. Mighty, open your eyes, we are getting some old stuff that shouldnt see a light of day! i'm really glad that you are happy with all this "news" but i feel cheated. Liam gave us a giftbox: colorful and big, but this box was empty. we are still hungry...

and please, dont say we get Guns because we get it only thanks to Liam, but not Howlett and you know that ;)

'Still aint know an album title yet' that's only something he would say 8-)

at least we're getting something man...
not much... but at least something.

not like I'm happy about it the waiting is irritating me more then ever

he's right you know, it's pretty shite after all this time. Surley they could have given us a bit more... BUT on the flip side!

Imagine how fucking amazing it's going to be when we here some proper new shit :D! The only down side is if he waits any longer it's gonna sound shite because of how long we've waited. SOmething that takes this long is gonna have to sound. It's going to take some ground braking shit to impress the crowd over here at BK haha!

agreed...

i mean really who here isn't excited about forthcoming prodigy material? isn't that why we're all at this forum?

things like "patience" isn't relevant because we all have to wait anyway lol and it's not like liam is going to just speed it up because we said so, but we can try to pump ourselves up in the meantime eh?

it's obvious enough at this point that fans were divided quite equally on the last studio album... so to really hook everyone this time they are going to need some heavy shit to bring it altogether again.

Hope that Liam will make a good album not a second AONO.
Besides that the new live Version of Firestarter is crap, the Charly Zinc Mix is allright and the new Poison Live Mix is GREAT!

we gotta remember that Liam is the only person in the prodigy that makes music
1. he's got family now and i'm sure he wants to make his best there too
2. there was a massive comeback tour, 'their law' tour, starting their own label which takes mass amount of time
also
3. Liam was very excited about AONO but it went rather poor. he wanted people to like it, but still much people knows the prodigy form breathe, firestarter & out of space... well, maybe spitfire is quite known tune from AONO. now he's dealing with it (AONO failure) and didn't want to let that happen again

deeply i think Liam really wants to come back with something ultimate. return with Atomic Bomb.
and that might be the reason why we haven't hear anything of new shit. some tunes might be born even 2 years ago but were tweaken to this time to be perfect! maybe he still wants to remind fev people about the prodigy whith this old setlist
then, return as the king 8-)

The problem is that's not always possible, due to human nature. Liam obviously wants a return with the bomb, but history know a million examples when people just lost their (success, inspiraton) *wave*. Honestly, I don't think Liam could do another bomb just by his wish. The thing I'm waiting from Liam is not another bomb as it was in 96. I'm waiting for deep and very personal Liam Howlett material done with mostly with hardware. I don't give a shit for any collaborations, scandals, or even mainstream aimed stuff. It's time to comeback to roots, grow up naturally. The thing is that I would give all Liam has done after 1999 for one his Do The Fuck What We Want with decent quality. I would give alot to bring Liam back to remixing. I would give a lot to stop Liam trying make bombs for mainsteam. I would give a lot to make Liam do the music that he really wants with no pressure of labels, fans, asslickers. If he does have a talent it's gonna be bomb anyway.

I would give it all not just because I'm that rich, I would give it all because I'm damn poor. I have to admit I'm really linked with the Prodigy. My talent costs no shit without the inspiration the Prodigy gave my in 90s. Sad to admit I eat a lot of shit everyday to wait anything proper from the Prodigy, that would spark my life interest back, not just remixing interest. I wonder if Liam knows that I've seen him in my dream for a couple of times. And it wasn't an obsession, my life path is really connected to the Prodigy music. After 2000 my health just disappeared. It's not that I could not make music, I was near death for a couple of times. And due to the fact that music is my basically way to survive I can't call myself "ordinary fan". I do know the price of a talent, I can't let myself to bury own talent, I would do a lot to stop Liam making blank bombs.

AONO wasn't as big as it could have been because of no promotion in the states. Had tons of people known about it here in America it probably would have swept up a whole new young generation of fans who would be researching FOTL as history....who knows what might have been, but AONO is a good album. Not the best, but I still like it...its in my car right now actually.

I really just want the return of Keith and Maxim on the next album.

not 100% true: even in UK, the album got #1 on the first week of release, but did fall NOT LONG AFTER (because many old fans thought it was shitty comeback)
and I'M one of these, in this new generation, living in North America, that got hooked by AONO (in 2005) and then digged into The Prodigy history from Experience to FOTL, and I can tell, AONO wasn't popular here simply because that's not the music people wants here (it didn't help with the deficient promotion)
here, in my province, when its not domestic music, my generation mostly expect from Musique Plus (our MTV here in Québec) to play the then-hyping pop shit (like Green Day for rockers and Rihanna for R&B and etc.). you know, this channel is playing the top 5 clips like 3 hours a day and then playing Simple Life (and other stars reality show), so much waste of time as they could show some variety sometimes. it's lame, i'd love to live in UK for this, where many of my favourite artists come from

There will be never be a formula for an 100 % success album... every artist knows this !

Liam [and any other artist] hasn´t any influence to this - it depends on the generations taste, media skills, the media itself and how an album was advertised. It doesn´t have anything to do with the content of an album, if it´s a BOMB or not. There were dozens of great albums wich were sold extremely weak.

Most fans and members here will say the new album will be a BOMB, but there are a lot of other people that never will like the album.... and I guess a lot of people never will hear about it. You can ask someone in 2009 "Hey, you know the last Prodigy album from last year ?" and he will say "What ? ... there was an album released last year ?"

Prodigy will win new and lose old fans with the next album release, cos a lot of people will be surprised, a lot of people will be disappointed and a lot of people will be enthausiastic about it.

And maybe YOU will finish to be a prodigy fan with the next prodigy-album, cos it´s shit in YOUR opinion .... who know´s !?!

I hope for a BOMB with the next album in my opinion and that Liam will surprise me with the next album like the other albums before .....
