zbyniu wrote: AONO in Poland was released under Sonic Records label and it wasn't promoted in any way! it was very hard to get any AONO singles, they were imported from the UK as "special order". and there was no option to get any records on vinyl! the album didn't sell well because there is no artist in poland which is selling well do you know how many cds have to be sold to get "gold disc" status? 10 000 copies! in 30 milions country! The prodigy history in poland is very short. 1st gig: 1996, first record release: 1997! (until 1997 prodigy's records in poland were unavelible. in 97 KOCH International out whole discography: from charly to smbu, on cds and tapes, also they released dirtchamber in 99); 2nd gig: 1998, in 2002 Sonic records out BGAT with promotional postcards; in 2004 sonic out AONO, 3rd gig: 2006, 4th gig: 2007. And that all, this is the Poland. No promotion, no well selling albums, nothing. exist only TECHNO
that's something I find sad
I don't know how well they did here (in Canada), but as I checked www.theprogidylive.com, they only have come twice in my region (the city: Montréal, Canada), in 1993 and 1998, but I didn't know them at the time (as I was too young)
apart from that, the closest they did was in Toronto in 1997 and 2006, but Toronto is still a bit far from me, I couldn't go everywhere I wanted to go at the time of their gig of 2006
that's why I hope they do sell good in North America, with the next album, because if they don't, I'm not sure they're gonna tour that much in North America, so they might not come in Montréal, which means that maybe I'll never get the chance to see them live (I'm one of those who believe this album is their last)
if in their tour dates they plan to come to Toronto again (but not Montréal within the same few days), maybe I'll try to go, but still ain't gonna be a piece of cake

I remember watching a Garfield cartoon and Garfield's theory was that Wyoming doesn't exist and it's a native american term meaning "no state here."
"I mean, do you know anyone from Wyoming?.... of course not! No one does!"

If they come to Toronto you definitely have to come down. It's totally worth it. You could just grab the train. I flew to Florida and the UK to see them and it was worth every penny Now I don't expect everyone to be as fanatical as me, but Montreal >>> Toronto is totally worth it. Also, they'll definitely play NY you could go to that one. I really want to see them in NY. First of all, I've never been there so I really want to go, and seeing Prodigy at the same time would be killing 2 birds with one stone

Come back to Glasgow! It's a shame the majority of you guys can't expierience a gig in glasgow, the atmosphere is always fucking electric! The Prodigy at the SECC in 2005 is still my favourite gig of all time. I remember reading an interview not too long after that gig and Maxim listed that gig in his top 3 of the tour :D

I always wanted to see them live in Britain, in their home ground, with it's unique atmosphere. Actually a few months ago I discussed it with some other Czech fans, and we are really into it. Some Brixton gig would be cool
