Don't like this TC remix.. Haven't listened to DJ Hype remix for some time now.. but at the time I thought it was ok.. As for the Subfocus remix, I think I've never heard that one..

They are ok, but I think drum & bass should have never been the choice for Smack My Bitch Up.. it just hasn't worked out so well for it. It's hard to remix a masterpiece though

well, I'm not saying I prefer any mix, I like them 3 (the 3 I have heard: orig, sub and hype, not jonny l and TC), they just fit to different moods

but, it could have also been original, yes, if a remix was contrasting to the track itself

maybe not that "Smack My Bitch Up" becomes a love song, but you know what I mean*, staying along the Prodigy style, being a contradiction

Yeah it is a hard tune to do b/c it's so fast already, and then to bring it up to DnB BPM it sounds REALLY fast. But as you can see, they weren't even given the parts, so they had their hands tied a bit.

I actually like them all. I'd rank them from best to worst: Sub Focus, Hype, TC. The Sub Focus one really grew on me, it sounded excessively fast at first, but I got used to it. I really like how it loops that little sound before the drop. But I've been known to be a little biased when it comes to Sub Focus

well.. I definitely like it more than TC remix, but I don't like the intro, he shouldn't have used the original intro, it just sounds too fast.. from around 1:30 mark onward, it's ok

I have a mix somewhere of Baby's got a temper mixed in with Voodoo people (pendulum remix). It's actually pretty fucking good.

That Firestarter remix is fucking awesome. At around 3:00 when it kicks in with the mad smbu shit. It's fucking great.

If you have a good soundsystem at home, crank that shit well up and take your mind elsewhere!!!
