They wouldn't tell us even if that was the right date. I don't think ppl at Play.com were sitting around the office and said "hey lets make up a date for the new Prodigy album". They got it from somewhere. Liam and their tight liped crew will tell us a week before like usual BK will break the news FIRST like always though

i believe that there isn't any date,these words are all wasted,new record won't be out untill we'll hear something new as a single or stuff like this.I think there isn't any program,new prodigy album could be out also in 2009 if there isn't some promo stuff.Actually i hear only rumours,but nothing of concrete.....The same Liam words on prodigy myspace are only words,i still heard nothing new musically speaking apart Shadow,but it's another thing,it's nothing about the new album.I know i can seem pessimistic,but this is what i learnt waiting aono for 7 long years (like a lot of you prodigy fans).

I've learnt so long not to trust in Liam, and not to trust in rumours, but I always fall in the mistake that if Liam says something, I believe that now he'll really keep his words. Like I believed they'll really play new shit at the end of the year (2007) as he said.
Now this rumour came and I believed about things I've already read. Like a new video is making and all that things. Now it was (probably) false again, but what can I do? Nothing actually, just wait.
Y'know the real annyoing thing is that Liam can do what ever he wants. I start to think it was not an occasion that they made a track called "we do what the fuck we want", cos yea. They know we'll be disappointed if they not keep their words, but they also know that any time they drop the new album, we'll run to the shop to buy it immediately. It's so fuckin mortifying.

I'm not buying CVs reply, way too cagey to be taken seriously. I'm even beginning to think we'll get the album before 05-05.

sounds like he knows whats goin on and he just wanna keep everything under the wraps for now. it's usually firm policy if it comes 2 record companies. "false alarm"? hey, he never confirmed or denied it. he just talked about "lotsa rumours". he didn't say those rumours were wrong.

I've just heard on one Croatian radio station that Prodigy has 25 tracks prepaired and that the single will be released soon,i was so excited that i didn't hear everything she said,but that was enough for me to post this message.

It could just be more rumors... but it wouldnt be the first time that news doesnt come from any official channel. We should mail some of the people with the info Not ask the boss for confirmations, but get some credible rumors from the dark alleys. CV, XL, theresa, etc...

Seriously, most likely May 5 is simply a tentative date. Liam has probably told the powers that be that he is down to the final steps and is about 4-6 months away. This may go into that whole 'the label needs about three months notice' deal.

I think it's funny coincidence if it's true. The 5th studio album on the fifth day in the 5th month. Sounds nice. I have hopes for it, but I don't live towards it. And yes, we are maniacs. Fans are always like that. It's a compliment to the artist we're a fan of, right?
