If they are in the final planning stages, my best guess is fall 2008. Fall is the best time to release albums. Labels and artists like it because you have the initial push in Sept/Oct where you sell a boatload of records, then you fall right into holiday shopping where you usually match what you already have sold. If I am not mistaken, Prodigy's last one was released (WORLDWIDE) in September, right?
So maybe we'll see a single in late June, early July? If I remember right, I listened to the Girls single on my way to Summerfest (music fest in Milwaukee, WI, for those not from the states) and that was in late June. I bought the album in late September.
Whuddya think?

Think we discussed that track before...if I remember correctly!
it's a fake track, not prodigy at all. Easy to hear that
But as the comment field in the id tag says :
"This isn't really a leaked version of the prodigy, why did I fake this release because no one is fucking paying attention to my music, I've sent my tracks to over 50 labels AND NOT A SINGLE FUCKING REPLY, released tracks in mp3 stores that no one's bought. If you enjoy this track, email me and let me know, you can find my sites on google, just search my name - thanks Edward Cufaude (A struggling music artist who just want to make people dance) Peace Out and enjoy the free track"
Just some n00b being attention whore

Sounds a bit like Crystal Method or Curve's Chinese Burn remix to me. It's not too bad to my ears, but a bit boring and repetetive after 3 minutes.
But obviously not Prodigy, even without the included note.

Come to think of it, The Prodigy have never released an album in the first half of the year, so maybe they want to keep this tradition
Their two best albums were released exactly in the middle of the calendar year. So if the 5th album is released near that time, and is even remotely as good and successful as those two, we're in for a great summer.

Yes good point. They will always play the summer festivals b/c it's a lot of exposure and lots of money. They need a new album to support this, and to get headline status at many of the festivals. If they play that fuckin' 3 year old setlist again this summer I swear to God I will hunt Howlett down myself!

I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one out with your hunting rifle mate. I think we would get a BK Liam hunt on the go if they play the same set list again this year!

'AONO' came out at the end of August. From memory they didn't do any Summer festivals before it. They toured the album in the last quarter of the year.
I very much doubt they'd do a new album set at a festival. Festival sets are almost always 'greatest hits' sets.
Liam likes deadlines. He likes the sound they make as they go whizzing past.
