i believe the album will be out this year. hopefully during the summer since they'll already be touring and playing new tracks. which we all know they will obviously get recorded and thrown up on here by a fan. and we all know Liam's feelings about leaks and live recordings before it comes out on CD. so it would make sense to release during this summer festival tour thing and it will help with getting the new album promotion going.
the fact that he says they have a cover, an album title, and song titles makes me think it is pretty close to complete. i think Liam is afraid about it leaking and what better way than to not give us any info on titles for us to search around for. so Liam is giving us disinformation to confuse the hell out of us and drop a bomb when we least expect it.
summer is when this baby needs to comes out, this is the time. tons of artists are releasing shit around this time, Meat Beat Manifesto, Portishead, MSI, NIN's recent release, etc. etc. after the summer release, i think would be kinda crappy and put a little damper on spreading the word. summer is the best time to get it out there. doesn't make sense to me for them to hit the road with an album not finish. it would go against everything Liam has stated. he did say he will start doing shows when the album was finished. Cooking Vinyl said we would be hearing rumblings soon. so i believe it's on the horizon.
but then again, it's Liam, it's The Prodigy... who the fuck knows?

"Hopes" is probably not even an issue, journalists add the word in articles all the time to build up tension. There are so many sources saying that it's going to be released in 2008, I'm just going to laugh at the doubters when it does come out.

Wasn't it posted on a site somewhere that it would definitely be out 5th May.
Can we expect a single released before then?

I can only hope he has been influenced by Justice and dubstep. There have been some news about him working with Dave Taylor, however - its just a rumor. And, yes, he's probably not telling names because of leaks but then again, he's a well known liar so he could've used that as a tool to give us fake song titles. We'd all be searching the net night and day because we would just have to get those fakin' tracks. Like good old days.
Seriously though, if he cant reinvent a genre or something, he's not really going to stand out. Production today has gone extremely far and fucking guitars, drum machines and mass distorion is not gonna cut it. The only track he's done really well since AONO was Back 2 School, and that was actually written before AONO. Warning had potential but was eventually smuthered.

I can't believe how much everyone analyses what Liam says. I'm sure for this interview he was probably just spotted in the street, and someone asked him, "hey, whens the new album out" and he said all that. It was probably just a casual comment that has now been glorified and taken waaaaaaay out of context!
Are you all sitting there just waiting for this album or what? Get out and do something, and then when the release date is announced, you can start masturbating!
