Like something we do would get them to release a single.. C'mon!
We're getting the single when it's the right time.. I don't want some rushed piece of shit.. And I agree 08.08.08 would be such a lame date for a prodigy release

Well, well, well. MOST of you will defo not agree with me here But if you ask me:
Worlds on Fire would be good as a b-side single track.
Warriors Dance... hm, if they do a lil bit of edit to it, then it has to have a place on the album.
Xylophone stuff is the same. I love this tune you all know, but it is a kinda "jam" and I don't think they'd put a jam to the album. I mean, it's very simple if you watch the tune. No much rhythms, not really variety, so yea, if it is going to be on the album, I want it to be much more better.
However I like the new tracks, I'm dare to say out loudly that I am not waiting for the new album so much as I did before
Maybe it's only because these are "too new" to me, so first I have to get used to it, I don't know. I feel again what I've felt when I heard AONO. The nostalgy. NO, I don't want them to copy one of their earlier albums. What I miss is to be unique.
When there was no AONO yet, and a man asked me: where would you cathegory the prodigy? I said: prodigy. They were unique.
Then AONO came, simple electronic music. Now these new tracks also seem to be simple electronic music to me.

I guess it has something to do with the equipment Liam uses again like he used during AONO-period.
He should combine his new with the old equipment imo.
But i disagree with you ©@rm4g3dd0n in that point to say, that prodigy isn´t unique anymore. Okay, I must admit - It seems to be they lost they unique sound IN MOMENT - but who knows what of the new material will be on the new album. Maybe nothing of mescaline, warriors dance, etc. etc.
I guess, this album will be unique, too. It will be individual but will also keep the prodigy vibe in it.
Like I said some days before - for me the xylophone tune sounds really nice, but it´s only early BETA Stuff for me. Propably it will be just a small element of a new track - like Trigger elements Liam used for Shoot Down.

I think this is good news... 8 tracks already done means that their aproaching their final album shape... Mescaline and Beat 55 are still work in progress but sounding Fraking Awesome so far!
Here's hoping Heat Wave has made it's way into the new record in remixed form
.. and We still havent heard their single Wich means they've got better stuff than what they've showed so far!!! YAY

the shadow has an AONO felling to it, so I don't think it will be on the album

i disagree, the shadow sounds way more electronic, faster, rougher and more alien than any aono tunes to me. sorry, but im a huge fan of that track and "aono-like" is mostly used as an musical insult in this forum.

the production on 'shadow' kicks the shit out of aono tracks. its actually one of the best mixed prodigy tracks, a sign of whats to come maybe, but the tune itself for me is blah
