according to review, omen is the same style as WD, weird stuff considering gun reprise was like the opposite of that genre

and yeah as for live tunes (beat 55 & mesc) they'll be in the bonus disk

I prefer getting 40 minutes of 100% pure qualtiy instead of 80 minutes of garbage ;)

oh boy..after reading tracklist and review....,i'm shitting my pants again..must be the most aggressive record they have ever done...
i really don't know what to expect from Mr L but an evil, sinister,
manic work dominated by ferocious beats.. after all ,in
an interview during FTOL era they stated "we're everybody's dark side"
... Yes they are

‘Invaders Must Die’ is 40 minutes

I told you were exaggerating. I know it doesn't matter, I know, but just... don't be TOO optimistic. It'll leave you disappointed at some point.

Hellrazor has a good point there, that's what I mean. Optimism based on what we do know... and see the good side of it. ;)

Anyway, its quite a good review. I'm not sure what style the album actually is because the reviewer doesn't tell a lot about instruments, genre-influences and other information like that. The track descriptions are somewhat cryptic. I think that might be a good thing as I'll probably be surprised anyway after my first listening sexperience. :-D It sounds like the review is based on a single or a few listens of the album, the first impression, you know? ...and it seems very VERY impressive.

and stop crying, maybe album is "only" 40 minuts long but remember that we will get bonus cd and dvd. i'm sure both disc will be full of not the newest and the freshest but for sure pretty exiting tracks :)

Yeah i was a bit surprised to see the album's only 40 mins long too, but like you say, there's gonna be a bonus cd too which could mean that the album in total is like 100 mins long :badger:

I've got higher hopes for this album now than before after the review, it sucks that my bro's gonna get it for his birthday on March the 4th though (so I've gotta wait for after its released and also the cd will be 0% mine)

Im think most music companies/maybe artist itselfs are paying for a good reviews of upcoming albums, so 99% of all reviews you should'nt take seriously. I will wait for my own review, after 2nd march, when i will hear the albums couple of times:). There is no more certain and RELIABLE review than your own:)

Another good side of the album being somewhere in the 40 minute lenght... Just take Spitfire as an example: From polls, talking to people that know the Album version (which is 5:07) and the Single version (around 3:22 I believe), I must say the shorter version had much more punch and power to it. This also counts (to me) for Voodoo People, No Good, The Way It Is and a few other edited tracks. The shorter versions tend to be more fierce and clear.

See, a track doesn't have to have a long lenght to punch you. The more repetitive (long) it is, the less likely it is for me to listen over and over again. I think these tracks will be very very smooth and have great arrangements. If you like them a lot, you'll be more than happy to put then on repeat anyway. It's quality over quantity I think...

And with the bonusdisk in mind there's no need to bitch about those mere 40 minutes. You'll be playing them all day anyway.

OMG all this Prodigy news, am I dreaming or what? Somebody pinch me!

It sounds amazing from the review, and the tracklist is really interesting. Some titles there which are a bit unusual for Prodigy, which makes me all the more curious!...

I'm a bit disappointed it's their shortest album, but if it's quality and has cut the fat then it's all good in the hood. Biggest disappointment is no Mesclaine as it's my fave track. Well I'm just praying it's renamed or a secret bonus track. If not it'll do on the bonus CD. Also I'm so happy that Worlds On Fire isn't the opening track and is nearer the end of the album. I always said it sounded like a later track and not an opener. Thank god I was right!...

Invaders Must Die is the opener then, well this is gonna be a total exploding bomb tomorrow. If the forums existed in physical space then tomorrow will be like dropping an atom bomb on it!...

I think Worlds On Fire is the second One Love.

Well, if you look at it this way - TFOTL has been their shortest album so far, and arguably the best one (certainly in the top two in most people's books). So, even though the lenght is somewhat disappointing, there is a good Omen
