No, but it's a part of the album, and will add to the minutes of music we get. You should head back over to the metallica forum or where ever the fuck losers like you hang out.

the review seems a bit like its written by martin james.. hmmm

it's not a review, can't you see that all the sites have the same thing.it's just the press release, the prodigy's marketing comapany,or how the guys from the band see it.the reviews will only come later i'm afraid.
and it's a shame for those 40 min, really hoping for some 6,7,8 min tracks but oh well this will do,now the question is what is on the bonus..........

The length of an album means nothing. Hearing the reviewers talk about its completeness makes me really excited. One of my favorite albums is the Richard D. James album from Aphex Twin and it's only 30 minutes long. It feels complete though. They released a version for the U.S. with a bunch of extra tracks that take away from the whole. I'd much rather have my 30-minute version.

after reading the reviews thousand times i don't really believe that new album is only 40 minuts long. read it carefuly, there is nothing in those reviews, big NOTHING! i'd write this kind of review at any time, check it out

See, nothing hard :) and even vooodoo people single released on elektra was longer. and i know only one shorter album (it was linkin park album but don't remember which one and i'm too lazy to check it ;)). i think liam's learned after aono leaks and he gave the reviewers some shite promo copy with cutted and edited versions, i'm sure about this, you will see, most tracks will be more than 5 minuts long

not a review,just a pres release :(
yeah linkin park meteora had 35 minutes, but this is prodigy we need at least 2 tracks with 6 min time.
i like it says that invaders must die,the tack, has horns in it maybe it's something like jericho, imagine the greatness of this track

oh here's the review so we won't have to go back to the first page to get the link

Quote:
The first thing you notice about Invaders Must Die it is how complete it sounds, a consistent collection of bangers all firing from the same cannon. The next thing you notice about Invaders Must Die is just how melodic it is. Not just melody in the vocal sense but in the heyday-of-hardcore keyboard-hookline sense. Yes, if The Prodigy have learned anything from the hugely successful live shows was that those old skool rave anthems still rock hard - and are every bit as iconic to their generation as punk was to the nation's forty-somethings.

So Invaders Must Die is awash with references to the free party generation, thundering along like the mother of all E-rushes, all hairs tingling, spine jumping and lips buzzing. But not a retroactive arms-in-the-air, water-sharing nostalgia trip, but a set fuelled by punk's saliva-dripping rabid snarl. Take 'Colours', the first tune The Prodigy recorded for this set with it's 1992 polysynth riffing that sounds like The Stranglers' 'No More Heroes' parachuted into the middle of a Castlemorton circa 1992. Or 'Thunder', the 21st century bastard child of the classic 'Out of Space'.

‘Take Me To The Hospital' finds Keith and Maxim flexing over a vintage Prodigy riff. Suitably rusted, distorted and in need of urgent medication it bites like the soundtrack to Dante's Inferno. While the live favourite
'World’s On Fire' resurrects a 'flaming' theme and applies it to a groove straight out second album 'Music for the Jilted Generation. 'Omen' and ‘Warrior’s Dance’ are both beamed straight into the moshpit from rave central, while 'Piranha' rips the threads from the back of 60's garage and beats it into the filthy gutters of modern urban life.

Any old skool bonhomie floating around the riffs of this album are quickly slaughtered by 'Run With The Wolves' where The Prodigy's self-assured, gang-minded campaign turns into a maniacal, nose bleeding, heads-against-the-wall warzone. With added drum-pounding energy supplied by Dave Grohl.

And finally Invaders Must Die delivers its last brilliant twist with ‘Stand Up’ a horn-led sunrise anthem that aches with the positivity of a new dawn, walking the line of a burning horizon with the swaggering look of satisfaction that only comes when you instinctively know you've achieved what you set out to do.
Cocky? Perhaps, but wouldn't you be if you'd seen off all of the invaders with your most complete album yet, the first for your own record label?

i wonder how thunder sounds,by the description they are giving now and to all the tracks i really hope 70% of the old setlist is gonne

I think Arctic Monkeys "Favourite Worst Nightmare" was about 40 mins, that's a quality album. Although it's pretty short sounding overall. Invaders Must Die sounds like it's going for the punch in the face rather than the epic progressive approach. Don't forget one track is just a reprise too, probably gonna be short that one...

I'll laugh hard if it gets leaked. They deserve it. Why fuckin showcasing it to some cunts and not to us. Let's just leak it, I don't mind.

BTW crazyboy and freehandjunkie: don't argue on that crap. Bonus cd is music too, we can be happy with that, but I agree that bonus cd is not "album", that is bonus, the main shit is only 40 mins.

I knew a band called "crapholder"s whose album contained 40 tracks and the length of the album wasn't 15 minutes;) Their longest track was 10 seconds long.
